Northeast Community College and Wayne State College, College Center – Education Building
Clark & Enersen, in collaboration with another firm, was selected to design the new College Center in South Sioux City, Nebraska, for Northeast Community College and Wayne Stage College. The facility provides post-secondary education opportunities, including two-year, four-year, and graduate degrees, for place-bound students in an underserved part of the state.
Students can take part in “start-to-finish” degree programs without having to relocate. This approach has the dual benefit of supporting economic and community development in the region through workforce training.
The College Center offers both administration and student services and features:
- Standard classrooms.
- Distance learning classrooms and computer labs.
- Science laboratories.
- A library.
- Conference rooms.
- Academic support spaces for tutoring, testing, and more.
