NDOL, Administration Building Renovation
Over the past several years, Clark & Enersen has completed three studies on the Nebraska Department of Labor Administration Building, including the 2018 study and program statement that served as the basis for their renovation project.
The purpose of the study was to define a Scope of Work for a renovation project at The Nebraska Department of Labor Building and provide an opinion of probable cost for the recommended improvements. The study also included multi-phased occupied renovation plans as well as plans for the department to completely move out of the building during construction.
The renovation included interior reorganization, architectural life safety upgrades, and a mechanical, electrical, and data system replacement that enhanced and improved the building’s work environment. The interior reorganization provided additional leasable space for the State of Nebraska to utilize.
