Kansas State University, Trotter Hall 3rd Floor Renovation

Kansas State University, Trotter Hall 3rd Floor Renovation

The 3rd floor renovation of Kansas State University’s (KSU) Trotter Hall Veterinary Anatomy Laboratories created separate functional spaces with up-to-date equipment to enhance the student learning experience in the modern veterinary medicine classroom.

The 3rd floor is home to a gross anatomy library, microanatomy library, and student success center. It also features three faculty offices with room to display anatomical models and teaching specimens, and reconfigured restrooms with showers, changing areas, and lockers, ensuring the space is ADA-compliant.

Other additions include:

  • Moveable furniture and technology to provide flexibility for a variety of group sizes and classroom arrangements.
  • An overheard track system in the gross anatomy laboratory to easily move specimens between work stations.
  • New animal prep spaces.
  • Upgraded coolers.
  • Updated MEP and fire protection systems to meet laboratory space and air quality requirements.
