Chadron State College, Math Science Center of Innovative Learning
Clark & Enersen, in collaboration with another local firm, provided all laboratory planning and detailing for the Chadron State College Math Science Center for Innovative Learning. Reopened in 2022, the project involved the complete renovation of the existing 30,000-gross-square-foot (GSF) science building plus a 17,000-GSF addition. The program includes undergraduate teaching space for hard sciences in the Chadron State College curriculum, including chemistry, biology, physics, geology, and anatomy and physiology.
The project includes extensive museum and specimen collections in keeping with the College’s long history of stewardship and research in the unique ecosystem surrounding the Nebraska Sandhills and Pine Bluff region. It also features several distinct collaboration spaces to create a sense of community for students within the facility.
