Project Information

The Work of the Project involves constructing a career and technical education (CTE) facility at Cuming County School District No. 20-0001, commonly known as West Point Public Schools. The project location is 1200 E. Washington Street, West Point, Nebraska 68788. The Project site will be available for on-site work to commence on or about July 29, 2024. Substantial completion of the project must be achieved by August 6, 2025.

Bid Submittal and Opening

Bids must be made on the bid form contained in the Bidding Documents. One (1) completed copy of the bid form, signed by the bidder, shall be addressed and delivered to West Point Public Schools, Attn: Superintendent, 1200 E. Washington Street, West Point, Nebraska 68788. Bids will be received until 1:00pm local time on July 23, 2024, at which time they will be opened publicly and simultaneously in the presence of bidder and/or their representatives. Email, facsimile, electronic, or telephone bids are not allowed. Any bid received after the deadline will not be opened or considered, and will be returned to bidder.

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Winning bid shall be announced by the Board of Education at its meeting to be help on or about the week of July 29, 2024, or at such other meeting determined by the Board.

Pre-Bid Meeting

All bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference on July 9, 2024, at 3pm local time at West Point-Beemer High School, 1200 E Washington Street, West Point, Nebraska 68788, to familiarize themselves with the site conditions, bidding requirements, General/Supplementary Conditions of Construction, and to ensure comprehension of the specifications. Architect will provide responses to bidders’ questions posed at Pre-Bid Conference by Addendum.
