Project Information

The Work of the Project involves building an approximately 9,504 square foot bus barn on the south side of the site, adjacent to the entry drive at West Holt Public Schools, 1000 N Main Street, Atkinson, NE 68713.

Release documents for bidding: April 5, 2024
Pre-bid meeting: None
Bid Date: April 30, 2024 at 2pm
Board Meeting to Approve Bid: week of May 6, 2024
Notice to Proceed: week of May 6, 2024
Contractor access to site – week of May 6, 2024
Last Day of School with students: May 16, 2024
Substantial Completion Date: ASAP – identify on bid form

The Bidder must, at its expense: provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the project; secure all permits, licenses, and consents required by law or necessary to perform the work; and give all notices and pay all fees and otherwise comply with all applicable city, county state, and federal laws, ordinances, and rules pertaining to such work.

Bid Submittal and Opening

The Owner — West Holt — will receive sealed lump bids until the bid time and date at the location given below.  Bids must be made on the bid form enclosed within the Specification. One copy of the bid and all required documents shall be delivered in a sealed opaque envelope with the Bidder’s name, address, and telephone number clearly marked on the cover to the address below. The lower left corner of the sealed envelope should read as follows: “BUS BARN BID”. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instruction to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bid Time:  2:00pm, local time — Any bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened.

Faxed or Electronic Bids:  Not Allowed

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
