Project Information

Project consists of phase 1 of the renovation of the Seward Civic Center.  Phase 1 includes completion of the fire suppression system for the building, a new ADA central ramp, a new gallery entry, improvements to restrooms, and general improvements to the east half of the building (1950s) including, but not limited to, a new VRF HVAC system, new LED lighting, and finishes.

Bid Submittal and Opening

The Owner will receive sealed lump bids until the bid time and date at the location given below.  Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instruction to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bid Date:  February 29, 2024
Bid Time:  10:00am, local time — Any bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened.
Location:  Seward City Hall, 537 Main Street, Seward, NE
Faxed or Electronic Bids:  Not Allowed

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Seward Civic Center at 10:15am, local time.

Qualifications shall be reviewed in private after the bid opening.

Bidders will submit one sealed bid and one printed qualification submittal as well as one electronic copy of both submittals via flash drive.

Pre-Bid Meeting

A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at the Seward Civic Center just inside the southeast entry on February 19, 2024 at 10:00am local time.  Prospective prime bidders are required to attend.

Bidders’ Questions:  Architect will provide responses to bidders’ questions at Prebid Conference by Addendum.
