Project Information

The Work of the Project involves a remodel of an existing 21,000 sq.ft. metal building formerly housing the District Administrative Offices. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to; interior building demolition, rough carpentry; joint sealers; new H.M. doors frames; flush wood doors; finish door hardware; tile; glass; suspended acoustical ceilings; paint; mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; access control system, data/communications system.

Bid Submittal and Opening

The Owner — Platte County School District No. 001, Columbus Public Schools — will receive sealed lump bids until the bid time and date at the location given below.  Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instruction to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bid Date:  April 18, 2025
Bid Time:  2:00 pm, local time — Any bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened.
Location:  Columbus Public Schools — P.O. Box 947, 2508 27th Street, Columbus, Nebraska 68602-0947
Faxed or Electronic Bids:  Not Allowed

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

Pre-Bid Meeting

A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at 2508 27th Street, Columbus, Nebraska, 68602-0947, on April 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. local time.  Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend.

Bidders’ Questions:  Architect will provide responses to bidders’ questions at Prebid Conference by Addendum.

Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, and to waiver any informalities.
