Orchard Park Academy in Westminster, Colo., Wins ENR Mountain States Best K-12 Education Project
Clark & Enersen is thrilled to announce that Orchard Park Academy in Westminster, Colo., has been named the Best K-12 Education Project by Engineering News-Record (ENR) Mountain States. The competition region included Colorado, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. A panel of 15 judges considered 93 total entries for the awards, selecting winners and merit awards across nine categories.
Orchard Park Academy was designed in association with DAO Architecture and constructed by Adolfson & Peterson Construction. The PK-8 school features flexible, multiuse classrooms and spaces, color-coded wayfinding, color-changing lighting, and environmental learning components through not only color, but also recycled magazine products that allow for identification of letters, numbers, shapes, and more.
Congratulations to everyone who was involved in this project, and thank you to DAO Architecture for inviting us to be a part of this exemplary team.
