Midland University, Miller Residence Hall
Midland University selected Clark & Enersen for the design of a new residence hall to replace the Men’s Memorial Hall as part of a phased campus investment to create comfortable, contemporary spaces for students.
The new, modern living and learning environment provides 98 beds and was built in the same footprint as the existing hall. The design of the sophomore-level, coed residence illustrates the institution’s emphasis on social engagement to help students build relationships and make connections that foster their academic success.
Miller Hall features suite-style living with the majority of students having a private bedroom and shared bathroom, kitchenette, and living room depending on the floor plan. Several ADA-compliant suites are also included. Additional amenities include:
- Student lounges, study rooms, and meeting spaces.
- Laundry facilities on each floor.
- A fireplace.
- An outdoor patio.
- A suite and office for the residence hall director.
The new residence hall was completed in 2020.
