CenterPointe: Campus for Health and Wellbeing Celebrates Construction Milestone with Topping Out Ceremony
The CenterPointe: Campus for Health and Wellbeing in Lincoln, Neb., recently reached a major construction milestone. Members of our design team attended a topping out ceremony on Friday, July 8th, a tradition that is typically held when the final beam is set in place on a structure that is under construction.
This unique project not only involves extensive renovations to a historic structure originally built in 1928, but also a 7,300-square-foot addition that will serve as a welcoming entryway with biophilic fractal ceiling patterns, artwork, and other design elements that create the feeling of taking a walk through a park. When completed, the campus will combine physical and mental healthcare, substance abuse treatment, housing, and staff office space, all within the same facility.
